  23./IX.1915 Jsem zde návštěvou u Václava, který má levou nohu ve stehně prostřelenou a zároveň zlomenou k tomu zápal plic a průdušek. Leží v bezvědomí a máme obavu, že komplikované nemoci nevydrží. Je zde též jeho paní se synem jeho. V pátek jedu nazpět do Uher; chodím do telefonní školy; jinak pro mě dobře. Pozdravy.

  TRANSLATION
  23.9.1915 Ich bin hier den Václav besuchen, er hat am linken Bein einen Oberschenkel-Durchschuss und gleichzeitig das Bein gebrochen, dazu Lungenentzündung und Bronchitis. Er liegt bewusstlos und wir fürchten, dass er die Komplikationen nicht durchsteht. Seine Frau ist auch hier, mit seinem Sohn. Am Freitag fahre ich zurück nach Ungarn; ich gehe in die Fernmeldetechniker-Schule; sonst geht´s mir gut. Grüße. Wie geht es Karl?
