Der Nachlass des Schriftstellers und Journalisten Peter Altenberg (eig.: Richard Engländer, 1859-1919) besteht aus von ihm gesammelten und beschrifteten Fotos und Ansichtskarten sowie einigen persönlichen Gegenständen, die sein Zimmer im Grabenhotel schmückten. Den Großteil dieses Nachlasses hat das Wien Museum (damals Historisches Museum der Stadt Wien) 1950 von der Neuen Galerie (Grünangergasse 1) erworben, es handelt sich um etwa 350 Objekte. Ein weiterer Teil des Altenberg-Nachlasses befindet sich in der Wienbibliothek im Rathaus.
The estate of the writer and journalist Peter Altenberg (given name: Richard Engländer, 1859–1919) comprises photos and picture postcards that he collected and labelled, as well as several personal objects, which decorated his room at the Grabenhotel. The Wien Museum (at the time, Historical Museum of the City of Vienna) acquired the majority of the estate, which includes roughly 350 objects, from the Neue Galerie (Grünangergasse 1) in 1950. An additional part of the Altenberg estate can be found in the Vienna City Library.
