Das 1852 in der damaligen Vorstadt Mariahilf eröffnete Esterházy-Bad, das über zwei nach Geschlechtern getrennte Schwimmhallen und ein “Luftbad” verfügte, galt als beliebter Treffpunkt homosexueller Männer. Im Jahr 1982 wurde das Gebäude, in dem sich das Bad befand, abgerissen.
