Dieses in einer bedruckten Schachtel verwahrte und handbeschriftete Sofortbild ist Teil des aus 60 Fujifilm Instax Mini-Fotos und 60 Kartonschachteln bestehenden Fototagebuchs „Tell me, how was your day? Fragments of a trapped soul“, in dem die in Wien lebende Künstlerin Ana Loureiro festhielt, wie sich das Verhältnis zu ihrer Wohnung im ersten Corona-Lockdown im Frühjahr 2020 veränderte. Während dieser Zeit diente ihr die 30m2 große Wohnung als Arbeitsplatz, Schlafplatz, Küche und Wohnzimmer. Ana Loureiro fertigte jeden Tag ein Polaroid von Details aus ihrer Wohnung, von sich oder vom Blick aus ihrem Fenster an und versah diese Fotos mit einem Wort oder einem kurzen Satz zu ihren subjektiven Beobachtungen, ihrem jeweiligen Gemütszustand oder ironischen Kommentaren. Alle 60 Fotos wurden handschriftlich datiert und beschriftet und kamen in 60 ebenfalls datierte und mit dem Stempel “Tell me, how was your day? Fragments of a trapped soul” versehene Schachteln, die symbolisch für die räumliche Begrenztheit des Wohnraums und das “Eingesperrtsein” im ersten Lockdown stehen.
Die Künstlerin setzte diese Arbeit im zweiten und dritten Corona-Lockdown im Herbst/Winter 2020/21 fort und präsentierte alle drei Serien von 9. bis 27. März 2021 in Mz*Baltazar’s Laboratory, 20., Jägerstraße 52-54.

Werkbeschreibung der Künstlerin:
“‘Tell me, how was your day? Fragments of a trapped soul’ is a daily series of small format photos (instax mini fujifilm) which documents and portraits my relationship with my home during the isolation days. That relationship was intense since the office, sleeping area and kitchen are all in the same place. My body freedom was trapped for more than 2 months in less than 30 square meters, which led to repercussions in my psychological. In every photo is mentioned the day that it was taken and a word or a sentence which describes the scene/object. Sometimes in a direct way, other times subliminal and more a mirror of my mental state with a touch of irony. Every picture is inside a small card box. The box symbolizes the house’s area limitation. The feeling of being inside ‘shoe box’.”
