Klaus Pichler: Donaupark (2013/14)

Klaus Pichler’s photo series Donaupark 2013/14 was created between August 2013 and February 2014 as a commissioned work for the exhibition “WIG 64 – Green Post-War Modernism” (Wien Museum 2014). On his foray through the 600,000 square-meter grounds, Pichler not only captured the particularities of the landscape architecture and design of this park, which heralds back to the WIG 64 (Vienna International Garden Exhibition, 1964), but also documented the diversity of current uses.
