Business cards and company labels from the Biedermeier period
Several collections of elaborately designed business cards, company labels, and calling cards in the Wien Museum provide information about the firms and industries active during the time of Biedermeier in Vienna, and about their products, services and advertising strategies. In part, these cards are pasted into scrapbooks, which makes it possible to draw conclusions about the business networks and consumer and leisure activities of high-income Vienna households at that time.
